Acast's Pantsuit Politics launches premium content with Apple Podcasts Subscriptions

The independent podcast is bringing its popular paid content to the new platform in May

Pantsuit Politics, an independent podcast hosted by Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers, is expanding its options for listeners who want to pay for their popular bonus content. The premium content will now be available through Apple Podcasts Subscriptions when the platform launches worldwide in May.

The Pantsuit Politics Channel on Apple Podcasts will now consist of three shows: Pantsuit Politics, the News Brief, and the Nightly Nuance. Sarah’s 5-10 minute News Brief in the morning gives you the headlines for the day, while Beth’s 10-20 minute Nightly Nuance dives deep on a policy issue, SCOTUS case, or news story.

The main Pantsuit Politics show that listeners love will remain free on Apple Podcasts and other podcast platforms. Subscribers to Pantsuit Politics Premium will receive access to Monday-Thursday episodes of both the News Brief and the Nightly Nuance. These quick podcasts will keep subscribers informed on the issues of the day with the grace and nuance they love in the main podcast. Pantsuit Politics Premium will be priced at $14.99/month.

Sarah and Beth are excited to deepen their relationship with listeners on Apple Podcasts, which recognized Pantsuit Politics as the second Apple Podcasts Spotlight selection in February, an editorial program that shines a light on rising creators.

Listeners who have previously accessed the premium content through Patreon have said it's “the best money...I’ve spent” and “it is the best $15 we [spend] each month.” The News Brief is cited as “a much more balanced and grounded” alternative to other morning news sources while the Nightly Nuance has been praised as vital in its “complex, empathetic, humble” approach to deep issues.

Listen to Pantsuit Politics now on Apple Podcasts, and subscribe or follow for free to get new episodes when they are available. New episodes are released Tuesdays and Fridays. Follow Pantsuit Politics on Instagram and Twitter, and subscribe to their weekly newsletter on their website (pantsuitpoliticsshow.com) to stay updated on the show and engage with the community.

Pantsuit Politics is represented by Caroline Edwards of ICM Partners. The podcast is hosted and distributed by Acast and is part of the Acast Marketplace. For more information on Apple Podcasts and Apple Podcasts Subscriptions, visit Apple Newsroom.
